Mr. Okwu Chukwuma Casmir, BSc (Nig), MBA(Nig).

Mr. Chukwuma was born on the 5th of March 1968 in Owerri. He is from Amobu Okpuala Amakohia in Ikeduru L.G.A of Imo state.

He schooled at Amakohia Community School Ikeduru Imo state (1970-1976) and Aquinas secondary school Osu Mbano in Imo state(1976-1981).

He then proceeded to the then Imo state university Okigwe now Abia state university Uturu from (1985-1989) where he graduated with a BSc in Accounting.

He did the compulsory one year National youth service with Alpha clinics limited in Katsina state from (1990-1991).

Following this, He worked first as an Investment officer with Capital Trust Company limited in Lagos from (May 1993-Oct.1993).

While at this job, He became a member of The Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in May 1993.

He embarked on post graduate in 1994 at the Abia state University Uturu and earned an MBA in Banking and Finance.

Mr. Chukwuma joined Citizens Bank Limited Aba branch in 1993 as a cash and teller Staff in the operations unit, He moved to the funds and transfer/clearing units in July 1995 in the same branch.

He was transferred to Onitsha branch in April 1996 and worked in the Treasury/International unit and then moved to internal control unit in (Oct. 1997-Aug. 2000).

In September 2000, He joined Liberty Bank Plc in Portharcourt and became its Head of operations till August 2003

He moved to Hallmark Bank plc and worked in the project monitoring/evaluation credit and marketing unit in Portharcourt II branch from(September 2003- January 2006).

Mr. Chukwuma joined First Bank Plc in Uyo cluster Area office as a cluster control manager of internal control and reconciliation where he worked until his present appointment as a Bursar for Imo state university Owerri.

He had earned numerous academic and professional Courses/ Seminar and workshops which include:

Basic Banking Operation Programme (Sept. 1994).

Mr. Chukwuma is married with kids. He enjoys reading, recreation and service to humanity.
