1. For admission into the four-year degree programmes, leading to the award of a B.Sc degree, candidates in general, should possess of least, credit (or merit) level passes in five subjects including English language, obtained in not more than two sitting of O/L examinations (GCE, SC, SSCE or TCII examinations). The most recent of the certificate being considered should not have lasted for more than six years. Specifically for admission into: Education/Biology or Chemistry, the subjects in which credit/merit level passes are obtained should include Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Education/Mathematics or Physics, the subjects in which the credit/merit level passes are obtained should include Mathematics and Physics. 2. For admission through direct entry into the three-year degree programmes, leading to the award of a B.Sc. degree, candidates should possess: Three papers passed at the principal level of A/L examination. The papers passed should include the subjects to be combined with education; ACE with at least an overall merit level passes in the various areas including the subject to be combined with education; and NCE with at least passes in the various areas including the subject to be combined with education (a minimum of 6 points by the point system. However, points from Education practice do not count). In addition to each 2 (i), (ii) above; a candidate, for a B.Sc programme should possess O/L credit/merit level pass in mathematics. 3. For admission into two-year degree programme leading to the award of a B.Sc. degree, candidates should possess at least overall merit level passes in areas including the subject to be combined with education (at least 9 points following the point system. However, points from education practice do not count). Section 2 (i), (ii) and (iii) (a) (b) above apply.
